No days off for Cristiano Ronaldo, as he keeps his skills sharp by running drills with his son.

Cristiano Ronaldo made his long-awaited return to the Juventus training pitch on Tuesday as the Serie A leaders continued their preparations for the resumption of the season.

Ronaldo was seen arriving  at Juve’s Continassa complex in his black Jeep after a 72-day absence. He spent the last 14 days quarantined at his home in Turin.

He had travelled to his native Madeira in Portugal when the lockdown was announced in Italy due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Portugal captain underwent tests today before doing an individual workout  on the pitch.

Ronaldo, 35, tweeted a photograph of himself smiling on the pitch and giving a thumbs-up with the message: ”When we become patient and consistent, we find the way to get through the difficulties ⚽️����.”

Serie A football was halted on March 9.

The former Real Madrid star trained at Madeira’s Nacional stadium during the lockdown and has frequently shown his fitness regime in the social media.

No date has been set for the restart of Serie A.
