The FC guys pick the best UCL comeback from Roma-Barca, Barca-PSG, Tottenham-Ajax and Liverpool-Barca.

It’s the end of one decade and the start of another, but how have the biggest names in football changed over the past 10 years?

The Toe Poke Daily is here every day to bring you all the weirdest stories, quirkiest viral content and top trolling that the internet has to offer, all in one place.

None of us look like we did a decade ago and the social media world has taken plenty of enjoyment from the #10yearchallenge trend that requires users to post a photo from 2009 and 2019 together.

Footballers have been getting into the spirit, with Tottenham and England captain Harry Kane having a particularly poignant memory of his growth since then.

Indeed, 2009 was the year that Kane signed for Tottenham after being rejected by the Arsenal academy for being “unathletic.” He’s gone on to play several hundred games for Spurs, scoring roughly the same number of goals, and is now arguably one of the best strikers on the planet. Not bad.

England legend Wayne Rooney also got in on the act. The 34-year-old began the decade in Manchester and ended it in Derby, with a return to Everton and a stop in D.C. along the way. However, it seems it was away from the pitch that the veteran striker was putting in the hardest work as this picture of his growing family shows.

Ex-Man United defender Rio Ferdinand, who retired in 2015, also had a humble brag about his hairline staying the same.

But who else looks different? Here’s a collection of some of world football’s finest from 2019 and 2009. Just click to flip the card and see how much they’ve changed!
