Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid played to a scoreless derby draw on Saturday that saw few offensive chances but solid goalkeeping efforts from both sides.

The draw at Wanda Metropolitano did see Real go to the top of La Liga standings with 15 points, one ahead of surprise side Granada and third-place Atletico.

Atletico’s record signing Joao Felix had some bright first-half chances on but was unable to connect on decent set-ups from Diego Costa and Thomas Partey.

Jan Oblak was solid in the net for Atletico, making numerous saves for the hosts on the night. His counterpart Thibaut Courtois had his second straight clean sheet for Los Blancos.
