Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland clearly upset PSG, and Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in particular, but they got their revenge on Wednesday night.

The Toe Poke Daily is here every day to bring you all the weirdest stories, quirkiest viral content and top trolling that the internet has to offer, all in one place.

Paris Saint-Germain advanced to the Champions League quarterfinals 3-2 on aggregate with a 2-0 second-leg victory over Borussia Dortmund at an empty Parc des Princes stadium, but it was their celebrations that drew the most attention.

Haaland had scored twice in the first leg and celebrated his second by pretending to meditate. After the first leg, the 19-year-old revealed why he adopted a ‘zen’ pose.

“I really enjoy meditation,” Haaland told Esporte Interativo. “It makes feel calm and gives me tranquillity. This is why I sometimes celebrate like that when I score.”

So PSG decided to get their own back in the only way they know how when the teams met again…

Neymar was the first to kick things off with a subtle dig after he had scored with a well-placed diving header from an Angel Di Maria cross following a corner kick.

But things got progressively less subtle after the game. The whole PSG squad made it clear what the intention was.

Defender Presnel Kimpembe then showed it off to the 3,000 ultra fans outside the ground who had turned up despite a ban of gatherings of more than 1,000 as French authorities try to contain the coronavirus.

Kimpembe did his best Haaland impression.

With Mbappe getting involved on social media afterwards too.

And finally Neymar, with his own in-house graphic design team in tow, stuck the last knife in.
